Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity…

Oh Joy!!
It came!!
At last! after so long, it finally came! The prize box from ESA.
So here we have the unboxing in pictures!

That makes you wonder about the Netherlands’ Post service.
Then the box opened.

We then started taking out everything. First the media player.



Then the sky scout.
















Which took us a lot of time to figure out how the heck to hold it.

The book, which I think rarely anyone buys. But I’m sure there’ll be some kid begging for it or some amature astronomer willing to buy it.

Why a towel? beats me.
After opening, we found some rather curious things.
For example, the sd card was made in Taiwan… that is, it traveled around the world to end up right back where it started, literally, since a lot of electronics are made just around the corner from where I stand.

The coolest thing was the stamp booklet that came in the backpack.








In the end there is a pad along with a calculator that’s rarely useful…



I guess that’s more or less about it. Who knows…wonders never cease…perhaps one day I’ll find it useful :P
